Soundtrack Your Brand is a Spotify-backed company that offers music streaming services for businesses. We have about 100 co-workers with a passion for changing how brands and businesses use digitally distributed music on a global scale. Among our customers are some of the world’s largest and most exciting brands as well as your local hairdresser around the corner. We believe that music itself profoundly influence consumers' experience and behavior. We have repeatedly proven this in our research and as thought leaders in in-store music research, we try to educate the world about the impact of music.

We’re now looking for an Account Executive to strengthen our sales opportunities.
You will be part of the Growth Team whose main responsibility is to set and deliver a scalable growth vision for Soundtrack Your Brand’s global expansion. You will report to our management team based in Stockholm and collaborate with the local sales and support organizations in key markets. This is a chance to join a high-growth company early on and grow together with us.

The Role

You will work independently to identify opportunities and close deals by doing prospecting activities and email campaigns, upsales, cold calling and handle leads from our partners and website. Further, you will invent and drive additional initiatives to further accelerate your sales and grow your pipeline. Your own curiosity and ambition level is the only limitation for how far you can reach in this role. You’ll be part of shaping the future of our Sales team by trying out new things and identifying what really works.

Inbound leads will require the most urgent attention in order to convert interested prospects and new account acquisitions.
Your daily activities will include a high volume of phone calls & emails with inspiring customers all over the globe to help them increase sales by playing the right music at the right time in their venues.

You will be working with and reporting to teams in different time zones and markets but will maintain a normal day to day schedule on EST time zone.

You are a service-minded problem solver and multi-tasker with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude. You aspire to get things done quickly with a high degree of workmanship. You’re pragmatic and don’t mind getting your hands dirty. You are an open person who says what you mean and mean what you say. Finally, you are fun to work with.

Required Experience

  • 2-5 years experience in sales or related field. SaaS experience is a plus.
  • You have a history of doing well in sales and are curious by nature.
  • You are self-motivated and can hit the ground running in prospecting, meeting, managing, and ultimately selling to clients
  • It’s crucial that you love to develop and foster relationships and enjoy interpersonal interactions
  • You’re an overachiever. You never quit, never take no for an answer, and ultimately succeed in everything you do
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • You must be a U.S. citizen or legal U.S. permanent resident and must reside in the New York metropolitan area.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
